ABOUT HOSPICE OF THE PIEDMONT

Hospice of the Piedmont is a not-for-profit provider of palliative (comfort) care and support services for patients, their families and caregivers, mainly in the home. Patients ranging in age from infants to the elderly who are facing a terminal illness are given specialized medical, emotional, and spiritual care.

Hospice of the Piedmont serves portions of four central North Carolina counties – Guilford, Forsyth, Randolph, and Davidson – from its office at 1801 Westchester Drive in High Point. Since its founding in 1981, more than 4,000 patients have been cared for by our team of professionals and volunteers. 
 
Programs and services include:  Hospice and Palliative Care, Care Connection Home Health, Kids Path, the Grief Counseling Center, and Hospice Home at High Point.

Hospice of the Piedmont is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc. and is a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, National Home Care Association, the Carolinas Center for End of Life Care, and the United Way of Greater High Point.
